Please purchase this magnetic mic mount if you purchase a Kenwood NX-1700 or NX-5700. Both radios do not come with a mic mount in the box.

This mic mount is the strongest mount on the market, and will not drop your mic while offroading like others do. It also has a rubberized coating, is subtle when not in use, and has an adhesive backing that allows it to be removed if needed.
