This the BEST radio for NCRR/SCRR events! We realize this is an incredibly expensive radio and the 50+ watt NX-1700 does great, but, if you want the farthest reaching, clearest sounding, most reliable radio comms while out in the desert, this radio is your choice. This is the RADIO ONLY. You must purchase the KES-5 Speaker w/ MOLEX adapter, 1/2 Wave Antenna, and a magnetic mic mount to go along with this radio. When you purchase from us, this radio comes loaded with all Raptor Run channels (NCRR, SCRR, TRR, BRR, AZRR, NVRR, GLRE, and EXO). You can attend an event with any Raptor group and be confident you’ll have their channels loaded up!
You must have at least a 50+ watt radio to attend NCRR/SCRR events, as well as 95+% of other Raptor groups. It is small investment now for a big payoff out in the dirt. This radio is above the minimum requirements to attend Raptor events!
A remote head unit allows you to mount the radio interface in many more locations than the NX-1700. The “brains” of the radio will go behind (or under) your rear seats.
The Kenwood NX-5700 provides the utmost in crystal clear communication. It is without a doubt, the best radio we have ever used.

This is the “Chase” version with no selector buttons on the mic other than the simple PTT button. If you wish to purchase the race version, please email us, but we recommend the chase version.
